Starts at 12 p.m. PT (ends 5:30 p.m.). Free, family-friendly Día de los Muertos at the pier's historic Merry-Go-Round with ofrenda altars and face painting from noon, an Aztec blessing at 1 p.m., Ballet Folklorico at 2 p.m. and mariachi at 3 p.m. Families can add a photo copy of a loved one to the community altar. 200 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
